The

Statement from a Chorale Singer

“It is my great pleasure to sing with the Meridian Chorale. Last night’s Atlanta Music Festival concert was a powerful affirmation of pressing on toward the good goal of integration and brotherly love, and I was proud to be a part of that. It was also a musical challenge that called on me for extra efforts of practice and attention. Both those efforts were rewarded with a sense of true music-making, the kind that carries with it spiritual proximity and spiritual blessing.

“It is the quality of the events themselves that move me to reflect on them this way, and that personal, spiritual impact is a special part of the choral experience.

“Thank you for assembling this group, for creating and managing these significant events, and for the vision that is pulling Meridian Herald forward. I have found great reward in taking a place with the Meridian Chorale through the years.  The AMF was a joyous experience.”
