The Marshes of Glynn:
an Oratorio Setting of Sidney Lanier’s Work

Composed by Steven Darsey

9.8, 9.9 Rehearsal Location, Parking, COVID Policy

Dear friends:

Our first rehearsal at Atlanta Symphony Hall will be tonight at 6:00 p.m.  sharp this evening.

CORRECTION ON PARKING:  We provided incorrect information last night.  PLEASE PARK IN THE PROMENADE PARKING LOT. DIRECTIONS BELOW. COME IN LOBBY DOORS THROUGH SYMPHONY HALL. A SYMPHONY EMPLOYEE WILL HAVE YOUR NAME ON THE LIST.  EXIT THE SAME WAY AND YOU WILL RECEIVE A PARKING VOUCHER.  STICK YOUR TICKET IN THE MACHINE FIRST, FOLLOWED BY THE PARKING VOUCHER, AND YOU WILL BE LET OUT OF THE PARKING LOT FOR FREE.

The COVID policy has just been announced by the ASO, and we are going to do our best to follow it. Arrive in masks and be masked back stage and on stage for both rehearsals.    If you have two negative Covid tests  (rapid home antigen tests count) before the performance (you can count one earlier this week or you can have two over the next three days) you have the option to sing unmasked at the performance.  Soloists who comply may sing unmasked.  If you prefer to sing in a mask, you may do so.
This is a big week for Meridian Herald.  We are grateful to all of you.

PARKING INSTRUCTIONS FOR REHEARSALS on 9/8 & 9/9:
Please have choir members park in our Promenade Parking Garage located on 15th street at the intersection of Arts Center Way NE. Please tell each choir member to pull a ticket and hold onto it to then redeem the $7 parking voucher that will be handed to them on the way out. They will present the first pulled ticket into the parking box followed by the $7 parking voucher to get that rate.
